To extrude an element with a pointer defined top

  1. Select the Extrude Element to Shape(s) tool.
  2. Set Top to Pointer Defined.
  3. Identify the element to be extruded. The extrusion height of the element displays dynamically.
  4. Enter a data point to define the height of the extrusion.
